The Serhiy Malyk International Charity Fund “Free Spirit of Ukraine” is a team of volunteers working daily to bring Ukraine’s victory closer, supporting the soldiers and medics who are the backbone of our country’s defence, and helping children affected by the war.
The visionary and leader of our foundation is Serhiy Malyk — a champion Ukrainian racing driver, and the founder and president of the Kyiv Auto Moto Club (KMAMK).
Throughout the eight years of the ATO (2014–2022), Serhiy provided constant support to our military and to children living in frontline regions. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, 100% of our efforts had to be redirected toward transporting humanitarian cargo, sourcing and providing essential vehicles for medics and the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and repairing military transport.
Establishing the charitable foundation was not a goal in itself, but rather a necessity, as we receive more requests for help every single day. To resolve each one faster and more effectively, we need additional resources: human, material, and above all — the support of those who care.
The Serhiy Malyk International Charity Fund “Free Spirit of Ukraine” exists to:
- Support children affected by Russian aggression
- Provide transport for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers
- Assist medical personnel
- Support military personnel
- Provide psychological support and rehabilitation for veterans
We welcome support of any kind: assistance in delivering projects, financial donations to meet current requests, media coverage, or even a simple share on social media.
Many of you know me as a racing driver, the founder of the Kyiv Auto Moto Club, and a record-breaker in car and motorcycle sport. However, since 24 February 2022, I have dedicated myself entirely to volunteering.
When war comes to your home, you automatically become a participant. You aren’t asked whether you want to be or not. The only choice available is choosing your own front and accepting the new reality.
I made my choice back in 2014. Having experienced the hostilities in the East and understood the needs of my brothers-in-arms, my team and I took it upon ourselves to meet the military and humanitarian needs of our defenders and those suffering from the actions of the Russian aggressor. Following the full-scale invasion, our volunteer work moved up a gear.
We closed fundraiser after fundraiser, helping, searching, and clocking up hundreds of thousands of miles in pursuit of essential supplies. Now, we are making it official. We will be even more effective and powerful, working together with you.
